Blutiger Fluss

Bio
Blutiger Fluss is Jeff Hutchison and Jim Duede, both on keyboards, synths and effects. Formed in 2008, Blutiger Fluss set out to create new age, spacey, atmospheric music limited only by your own imagination and reminiscent of early 1970's works by Klaus Schulze and Tangerine Dream. The band's first release, Dawn of Mars, “wanders in the old school analogue synthesizer ambient" (Heathen Harvest) while "riding along the abstract/experimental edge" (Sonic Immersion). Likewise, their 2009 release Moons of Jupiter will appeal to fans "who prefer their ambience to be steeped in astrophysics instead of philosophical implications" (Sonic Curiosity). Refreshingly, "the only thing Hutchison and Duede have truly copied is the spirit of that period of time in electronic music; the music itself is to my ears quite fresh and original...It sounds like some new, undiscovered gem of a band from that time period has recently been unearthed” (Electroambient Space).
